Meet Austin Olson
Austin's Bio
Austin Olson is an actor, writer, producer, director, and comedian. He’s spent the last 15 years performing at numerous venues throughout the Seattle and NYC area.
He has also been training heavily in the art of improvisation, traveling back and forth to LA for classes at Second City and IO, as well as classes at almost every improv institution in his home city. In the last few years, he’s also been performing improv professionally. One of the improvised productions he was in was Yes Anderson, a show that parodied the style of Wes Anderson. That show went on to win a people’s choice Gregory Award. He has also volunteered his time as a teacher of improv, in association with Bandit Theater, at the Ballard Senior Center in Seattle.
Austin has also been known to do scripted theater. Some of his favorite shows he has had the honor to perform in are: God of Carnage, The Importance Of Being Earnest, and Urinetown. He is known for goofy, odd, over-the-top, physical, often “yell-y” characters. Austin brings a sense of play and surprise to every production he is in, and you can always tell that he is just having a ball.
